NCT ID NCT06948825
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 6-month lifestyle program or the medication metformin is better for helping mothers lose weight after having a baby and dealing with gestational diabetes. About 60 women who gave birth in the last 3 to 12 months and have a BMI between 25 and 45 will join. They will track their diet and activity, attend group sessions, and may be randomly assigned to get extra lifestyle support or metformin.
