New program aims to help stroke survivors shed pounds and boost health
NCT ID NCT03873467
Summary
This study is testing a year-long healthy lifestyle program specifically designed for people who have had a stroke. The program focuses on better eating and increased physical activity to help participants lose weight. Researchers want to see if this approach improves weight, fitness, and other health markers compared to a wait-list group. The goal is to help reduce the risk of future health problems like diabetes and heart disease after a stroke.
