Walking and mediterranean diet tested to fight brain fog from fatty liver
NCT ID NCT07294963
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month lifestyle program can help improve memory, reasoning, and liver health in adults with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Researchers are enrolling 45 participants aged 18-42 who will be randomly assigned to receive general health advice, follow a Mediterranean diet plan, or combine the diet with a regular walking program. The goal is to see if these changes lead to better cognitive test scores, reduced liver stiffness, and improved blood markers of inflammation and hormone balance.
