First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a healthy diet and regular walking can improve memory and thinking in adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 45 people aged 18-42 will be split into three groups for six months: one gets general health advice, another follows a Mediterranean diet, and the third combines the diet with a walking program. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive test scores, liver stiffness, and blood markers of inflammation and hormones.
