New program aims to fix the 'Care Cliff' for adults with childhood disabilities
NCT ID NCT05849285
Summary
This study is testing a coordinated healthcare program designed to help adults with childhood-onset disabilities like cerebral palsy and spina bifida. The program aims to provide better lifelong care after patients transition from pediatric services, where care gaps often occur. Researchers will measure patient satisfaction, quality of life, and caregiver burden to see if this model improves overall care and support.
