NCT ID NCT05200572
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a telehealth program called Dyadic Life Review (DLR) is practical and acceptable for older adults (65+) with advanced cancer and mild cognitive impairment, along with their caregivers. The program involved guided conversations about life memories, adapted from a proven therapy. Researchers enrolled 38 participants (19 patient-caregiver pairs) and found that most completed the program and found it acceptable. The goal was to see if this approach could improve emotional well-being, not to cure the disease.
