Summary
This study looked at how the body processes lidocaine, a common painkiller, in young (under 40) and elderly (over 70) patients during surgery. The goal was to find the best dose for older adults to manage pain safely while avoiding side effects. 67 participants were monitored to measure drug levels and clearance rates.
