First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using dialysis less often helps people with acute kidney injury recover kidney function faster. It involved 220 hospitalized adults who needed dialysis. The goal was to see if a conservative approach (less frequent dialysis) leads to more patients being alive and off dialysis by the time they leave the hospital.
