Summary
This study is testing a support program for family members caring for someone with Lewy body dementia (LBD). It aims to see if connecting current caregivers with trained, experienced 'peer mentors' and providing specific education can reduce caregiver stress and improve the quality of life for the person with dementia. The trial involves over 600 participants and compares the mentor program to receiving educational materials by email.
