First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This completed Phase 2 trial tested LevoCept, a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (IUD), for long-acting reversible contraception in 279 women aged 18-40. The study measured how well the IUD prevents pregnancy over 3 years, how easy it is to place, and its safety. Results will help decide if a larger Phase 3 study should go ahead.
