Blood test may spot leukemia return in kids before it happens

Summary
This study looks at whether detecting leftover leukemia stem cells in the blood or bone marrow after chemotherapy can better predict if a child's leukemia will come back. About 283 children with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia will be followed. The goal is to improve relapse prediction so doctors can intervene earlier.
