Less invasive surgery trial could reduce complications for endometrial cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06900582

Summary

This study compares two surgical approaches for treating high-risk endometrial cancer. Researchers want to see if a less invasive method that maps and removes only key lymph nodes works as well as the current standard of removing many lymph nodes. The goal is to reduce surgery complications while maintaining the same cancer survival rates. The study will involve 374 patients who will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two surgical approaches.
