Summary
This study tested whether a weekly injection called leronlimab could help people hospitalized with severe or critical COVID-19. Nearly 500 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo shot. Researchers measured if the treatment reduced deaths and helped patients recover enough to leave the hospital within 28 days.
