NCT ID NCT07611591

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system of people with leptospirosis responds to the infection and to antibiotics. Researchers will collect blood samples from 70 adults in New Caledonia before and after antibiotic treatment to measure immune cell activity. They will also test a new approach using natural immunoglobulins to help the body better fight the bacteria. The goal is to understand why the immune system struggles and find ways to improve patient outcomes.
