NCT ID NCT06641583
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This completed trial tested whether LEGO therapy can improve social skills in 50 adolescents aged 10–14 with high-functioning autism. Participants attended 12 weekly 90-minute group LEGO sessions over 3 months. Researchers compared their social skills to a control group who continued usual treatments, using questionnaires and tasks at the start and end of the study.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a fun, low-cost way to help teens with autism improve social communication and interaction skills.
