Summary
This study compares two different drug-coated balloons used to open blocked leg arteries in people with peripheral artery disease. Researchers want to see if a newer balloon coated with sirolimus works at least as well as an established balloon coated with paclitaxel at keeping arteries open for a year. The trial involves 478 participants across multiple medical centers who have significant narrowing in their leg arteries.
