New hope to save legs from amputation: study tests advanced techniques for severe artery blockages
NCT ID NCT04801004
Summary
This study observed 322 patients with severe, complete blockages inside previously placed leg artery stents. It aimed to see how well newer, minimally invasive procedures could keep these arteries open and prevent patients from needing repeat surgeries over two years. The research compared different modern techniques to understand which work best for this challenging complication.
