Summary
This study tests a new type of shoe (LEEF-shoe) designed to prevent foot ulcers in people with diabetes and nerve damage. About 30 adults will wear both the LEEF-shoe and standard custom-made orthopedic shoes for several weeks. Researchers will measure foot pressure, how often the shoes are worn, and how much participants like them.
