Can a light bulb heal your skin? scientists test LEDs

NCT ID NCT02677194

Summary

This study aimed to find out if shining specific colors of LED light on skin helps it heal faster. Researchers tested this on 10 healthy volunteers by creating small, controlled wounds on their forearms with a laser and then applying different LED lights. The goal was to measure if the light changed how quickly the skin recovered and to identify the best light settings for healing.
