Tiny, Wire-Free pacemaker put to the test
NCT ID NCT05498376
Summary
This study is testing if a new, leadless pacemaker works as well as a standard pacemaker for improving patients' ability to exercise. The new device is much smaller and has no wires, which could mean fewer complications. About 100 patients with a slow heart rate will be randomly assigned to receive one type of pacemaker or the other, and their fitness will be measured.
