Pacemaker leads may harm heart valve – new study investigates

Summary
This study tracks 200 people getting a pacemaker or defibrillator to see how often the lead wire causes or worsens tricuspid valve leakage. Participants get heart ultrasounds before and after the procedure, plus follow-ups at 6 and 12 months. The goal is to better understand this complication and improve future care.
