Laughing their way to better mental health? yoga study targets stressed students

NCT ID NCT07212348

Summary

This study tested whether laughter yoga could improve well-being and help first-year midwifery students adjust to their new program. Researchers randomly assigned 54 students to either participate in laughter yoga sessions twice a week for four weeks or to a control group with no intervention. They measured mental health and well-being using questionnaires before, immediately after, and one month after the yoga program.
