First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether laughter yoga could help mothers whose children were in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) feel stronger and cope better. Forty mothers were split into two groups: one did short laughter yoga sessions over a few days, and the other got standard care. The results showed that the laughter yoga group had improvements in resilience and coping attitudes, suggesting this simple activity can support mental well-being during a stressful time.
