Summary
This pilot study explores whether laughter yoga can reduce depression and anxiety in children aged 8-12 with autism spectrum disorder, and lower parenting stress in their parents. About 66 families will either join laughter yoga sessions or be placed on a waitlist. The study focuses on whether this approach is acceptable, safe, and helpful for both kids and parents.
