Summary
This study looked at how the relationship, or 'therapeutic alliance,' between Latino patients with advanced cancer and their oncologists affects care. Researchers interviewed doctors and held group discussions with patients to understand what helps or hurts this bond, and how being Latino plays a role. The goal was to learn how to reduce disparities in end-of-life cancer care.
