First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two types of LASIK eye surgery to see which one works better for nearsightedness and astigmatism. About 70 adults aged 22 and older will have one eye treated with wavefront-guided LASIK and the other with ray tracing-guided LASIK. The goal is to find out if one method leads to sharper vision without glasses or contacts.
