Summary
This study compared two treatments for advanced open-angle glaucoma: a gentle laser (subthreshold diode laser) and a small surgery (trabeculotomy). 80 adults with advanced glaucoma that wasn't controlled by medications were followed for 12 months. The goal was to see which treatment better lowers eye pressure and reduces pain.
