Summary
This study tested two treatments—laser therapy and ozone gas—for painful mouth sores caused by cancer treatment. Forty adults with head/neck or blood cancers took part. Each group received daily therapy for five days, and researchers tracked soreness, pain, and quality of life for 30 days. The goal was to see which approach works best to reduce discomfort and help patients eat and speak more easily.
