Summary
This study tested two types of lasers (Nd:YAG and diode) against standard treatment for stage II gum disease in 33 adults. The goal was to see which laser better reduced harmful bacteria and improved gum health. Both lasers helped, but Nd:YAG showed a greater reduction in bacteria linked to gum disease.
