First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This early study tests a new, noninvasive laser treatment called Nanopulse Laser Therapy (NPLT) to see if it helps people recover from moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). About 30 adults will receive the laser within 48 hours of injury. Researchers will check if the treatment is safe and how it affects the body's healing process.
