Shining a light on chemo pain: laser therapy trial offers hope
NCT ID NCT06834685
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle laser treatment, called photobiomodulation, can help reduce nerve pain caused by chemotherapy. It will involve 70 cancer survivors who have had significant pain in their hands and feet for at least three months after finishing chemo. Participants will receive either the real laser treatment or a placebo version to see if it effectively eases their pain and improves quality of life.
