Laser and gel combo aims to boost skin healing

NCT ID NCT05411484

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a laser followed by a gel containing doxycycline (NanoDOX) can help medicine reach deeper into the skin and improve wound healing. About 12 healthy adults will receive the laser treatment and gel on small skin areas, and then have biopsies to measure how much medicine gets into the skin. The goal is to see if this combination works better than laser alone.
