First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested a special laser (pulsed dye laser) to reduce red veins (telangiectasias) on the face and neck in 21 people with scleroderma. Participants received four laser sessions, and doctors checked if the number of veins decreased and if quality of life improved. The goal was to see if the laser is a safe and helpful option for improving appearance.
