Summary
This study tested a special laser (1927nm) to reduce dark spots on the face in 15 adults with Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI (darker skin). The goal was to see if the laser works and to find the best skin care routine before and after treatment to avoid side effects like scarring or uneven color. The study is complete, and results will help guide safer treatment for hyperpigmentation in people of color.
