Zapping brain tumors: early trial tests laser and pill combo

NCT ID NCT07145112

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a two-part treatment for adults whose glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer, has returned. First, doctors use a laser to heat and destroy the tumor. About a week later, patients take a chemotherapy pill called lomustine. The main goal is to see if combining these treatments is safe and can be done on schedule.
