Summary
This study tested whether adding a gentle, needle-free laser treatment to standard anti-nausea medicine could better prevent vomiting and nausea in children and young adults (ages 2-20) undergoing chemotherapy. The laser was aimed at specific acupuncture points on the body. Researchers wanted to see if this combination helped patients feel better during and after their cancer treatment.
