Keyhole surgery for colon cancer: less pain, faster recovery?
NCT ID NCT07361016
Summary
This study compares two ways to perform surgery for right-sided colon cancer. It aims to see if a 'keyhole' (laparoscopic) approach leads to less blood loss, fewer complications, and a shorter hospital stay than traditional open surgery, while still removing the cancer effectively. Researchers will track 22 patients who are eligible for surgery and do not have cancer that has spread to other organs.
