NCT ID NCT07082530
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether inducing labor at 39 weeks instead of the usual 41 weeks can lower the chance of needing a C-section in low-risk pregnant women in China. About 1,074 women will be randomly assigned to induction at 39 weeks, induction at 41 weeks, or waiting for labor to start naturally. The goal is to find the safest timing for delivery and improve health for both mothers and babies.
