Can a supplement ease the pain after a brutal workout?
NCT ID NCT07492446
Summary
This study tested whether taking L-carnitine supplements for 21 days could help young male athletes recover faster from hard workouts. Researchers wanted to see if the supplement reduced muscle damage and soreness after high-intensity interval training. They compared the supplement to a placebo (a pill with no active ingredient) in 30 participants.
