New cancer drug enters first human trials for advanced solid tumors

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new cancer drug called KQB198 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be surgically removed. Researchers want to find the safest dose of KQB198 when taken alone or combined with other cancer drugs, and see if it helps shrink tumors. The study will enroll about 100 participants who have specific genetic mutations in their cancer and have run out of curative treatment options.
