This study tested a new portable, non-pneumatic wearable device (Koya) against a standard pneumatic compression device for treating leg lymphedema. 121 adults with leg swelling from lymphedema or chronic venous insufficiency participated. The goal was to see if the new device could reduce limb volume and improve quality of life just as well or better than the standard device.
