First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at two common treatments for people who have both a torn meniscus and knee arthritis: surgery to remove part of the torn cartilage, or physical therapy without surgery. Researchers want to see which approach works better for improving knee function and reducing pain over 6 months. About 350 adults with these knee problems are taking part.
