Finding the best dose to numb knee surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06084403
Summary
This study aimed to find the most effective dose of a pain-relieving nerve block for patients recovering from total knee replacement surgery. Researchers compared three different volumes of a numbing injection given near the knee to see which one best reduced pain and the need for strong opioid painkillers after the operation. The goal was to improve pain management while helping patients move sooner after surgery.
