Two nerve block methods face off in knee surgery pain study

NCT ID NCT07288970

Summary

This study compares two different nerve block techniques for managing pain after total knee replacement surgery. Researchers want to see which combination of nerve blocks provides better pain relief while allowing patients to move their leg muscles sooner after surgery. The study involves 80 adults aged 65+ who are having knee replacement surgery, and will measure how long pain relief lasts and how much pain medication patients need afterward.
