NCT ID NCT04358601

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at two different designs for the bottom part of a knee replacement: one made entirely of plastic and one with a metal backing. The goal is to see how much each design moves inside the bone over two years using a special X-ray technique. Sixty people with knee osteoarthritis are taking part to help doctors understand which design might last longer.
