New surgical technique aims to ease chronic knee pain

NCT ID NCT04028947

Summary

This study is testing whether a small change during knee replacement surgery can reduce long-term pain. During the operation, surgeons will either tuck away the end of a specific nerve or leave it as usual. Researchers want to see if protecting this nerve helps patients experience less pain after they heal.
