New scan aims to unlock the secret of your knee pain
NCT ID NCT07472088
Summary
This study aims to understand the link between knee pain and the physical structure of the kneecap joint. Researchers will use special weight-bearing CT scans on 36 adults with knee pain from conditions like osteoarthritis or 'runner's knee'. The goal is to see if specific measurements from these scans can help explain why people have pain, which could lead to better-targeted treatments in the future.
