New targets for knee pain procedure show promise in small study

Summary
This study tested a procedure called cooled radiofrequency to treat chronic knee pain from osteoarthritis. It compared the standard nerve targets with newer, more complete targets. Ten adults with moderate to severe knee pain were followed for six months to see which approach worked better for pain, function, and quality of life.
