New knee injection aims for Longer-Lasting pain relief

NCT ID NCT07267793

Summary

This study is testing whether a collagen-based injection called CartiPRO can safely provide long-term relief from knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. About 194 adults with knee pain will receive either CartiPRO or a standard injection, with a second dose given six months later. Researchers will track changes in pain, knee function, and quality of life over nine months to see if the new treatment works as well or better.
