Doctors track knee changes years after realignment surgery
NCT ID NCT06251752
Summary
This study follows 50 patients for over 5 years after knee realignment surgery to understand how the procedure affects the kneecap joint over time. Researchers are observing patients who previously had surgery to correct knee deformity and early arthritis, tracking changes through X-rays and patient questionnaires. The goal is to gather knowledge about long-term effects on kneecap height and arthritis progression after these common procedures.
